Fringed Tulip

The spotlight is on one of our faves… 🌷

Typically blooming in late March to early May, the Fringed Tulip is an absolutely stunning variety and great addition to any yard or garden! It stands tall (taller than most “traditional” tulips), has unique petal characteristics (hello feathery, fringed goodness!), and comes in a variety of colors…often two-tone or exotic blends. 🌷

Other FUN FACTS about Fringed Tulips:

Distinctive Appearance – They have finely serrated petal edges, giving them a feathery or lace-like look. This makes them stand out among other tulip varieties.

Variety of Colors – They come in a wide range of colors, from soft pastels to bold, vibrant hues, including pink, purple, red, yellow, and white.

Long-Lasting Blooms – These tulips tend to have a longer bloom time compared to other tulip varieties, making them a great choice for gardens and floral arrangements.

Sun Lovers – Like other tulips, fringed tulips thrive in full sun and well-drained soil.

Symbolism – Tulips, in general, symbolize love and spring renewal. Fringed tulips, with their unique and elegant edges, can represent creativity, elegance, and sophistication.

Great for Cut Flowers – Their sturdy stems and unique petals make them an excellent choice for floral bouquets and arrangements.
